Begin Your Journey ... MOBE Affiliate Program

Matt Lloyd Explains How You Can Keep Your Email List Responsive

It is not enough to have people in your mailing list. You need people who are engaged with your content and are responsive. They open your emails, click your links, and perform more desired actions. Below are Matt Lloyd’s tips on keeping your list engaged and responsive.

Send Relatable Content

Your lists opted into your lists because they were attracted by something. If you are promoting the MOBE affiliate program, you probably told them about making money online and running their own businesses. Your email content needs to be in line with that. If your lists were interested in making money online, and you start promoting a different topic in your emails, you might lose their attention because that topic may not be interesting enough for them.

Offer Value

If your prospects open your emails and find out that what you are offering has little value to them, they have no reason to engage further with you. Matt Lloyd advice's that you should carefully select your offers and make sure they are suitable for your target audience, that is, they can be used to improve their lives or solve an existing problem in the audience’s lives.

Another suggestion by Matt Lloyd is to offer content of value aside from your sales content. If you are always selling, eventually your audience will tune out. You are competing with about 20 other people in their inbox, so when your emails come in, they’ll just view it as ‘that guy trying to sell something again’ and they will ignore your emails.

Be Consistent

People online have very short attention span. If you are consistently emailing someone for several days and then just stop, when you email them again after some time, they are not going to remember you. And people usually ignore emails from people they don’t know, especially from marketers. Matt Lloyd suggests building expectation by emailing your prospects routinely and consistently so that they will get used to your email appearing in their inbox every day.

Conclusion

It’s important that you have a responsive list that actively engages with your content. Emailing lists are all about quality, not quantity. If you have a list of 1,000, but only 5 percent of them open your emails, you are achieving way less than someone with a list of 200 people and a 95 percent open rate.
